Camp Invention

This summer Delaware Township School will host a nationally recognized summer science and creativity camp for children.  Camp Invention encourages students to use critical thinking skills and to be inventive. They learn through hands on activities and problem solving challenges.  Camp Invention will take place at Delaware Township School from July 21-25, 2008 and is open to all current K-5th graders.

Each student will receive a camp T-shirt and a snack each day.  Camp will start at 8:30 AM and end at 3:00 PM each day.  Classes will be taught by certified teachers in air-conditioned classrooms.  Each day campers will participate in camp “spirit” activities during base camp.  During Recess Remix©, they will create new games together.  This is a messy, active, curriculum rich program that meets state and national standards. On Friday, July 25th Camp Invention will end with an “Inventors’ Showcase.” Attached is a flyer so you may take advantage of this wonderful educational program.

Although Camp Invention charges a $205 registration fee for attendance, it is a non-profit organization, and funds are available for partial scholarships.  Friends or siblings that sign up together save $20 each and three or more siblings save $40 each.  You can also save by signing up online at www.campinvention.com .
